Who We Are

When did we established?




Established in June 2014, the Bursa Young Investors Club (BYIC) is an initiative by Bursa Malaysia in collaboration with youth network Financial Youth Intelligence (FYI) establish a platform for students to increase their investment awareness and knowledge through personal development programs in the area of leadership, entrepreneurship and finance.  With Bursa Malaysia’s support, youths will be empowered through the club and sponsored funding to manage and sustain club activities and campaigns co-organized with Financial Youth Intelligence.

What is BYIC?

Is a student investors club that provides a platform for students to increase their investment awareness and knowledge through structured programmes.

Will be run by the founding committee members, who are students of the university/college, of the club.

Financial Young Intelligence will assist in forming the committee, organize major event such as bootcamp, conference and seminar for the club.

Bursa Malaysia will act as a sponsor and advisor to the club for all major investment related activities/events.  

What are the Objectives of BYIC?

To educate, familiarise and improve perception towards the capital market and its financial products.

To cultivate investment culture to the college going students and get them prepared to start investing.

To provide participants with the fundamental tools to start learning the ropes of investing in the capital market.

To help participants understand the importance of risk and money management to make better investment decision. 

To develop more industry-ready entry level talent pool.

As a common platform to bridge together the youth and the capital market community.
